Aeration Schedule for 2009

March 30,31                                       Greens Aeration

Course Closed on the 30th, Back 9 Closed on the 31st 

Verticutting and solid tine aeration with sand topdressing

June 29,30                                         Greens Aeration

Course Closed on the 29th only

Weather and turf conditions will dictate what method is     used  

July 6,7                                            Fairway Aeration

August 31-Sept 1                              Greens Aeration

Course Closed on the 31st, Back 9 Closed on the 1st

1/2" diameter holes with sand topdressing to fill holes 

TEE AERATION will occur when the golf schedule and weather allow. 

GREENS SPIKING will occur from time to time in the summer months and will be non disruptive to play.  Its timing will be based on conditions. 

GREENS AERATION in March and September will take two full days and will require that the back nine be closed on the second day until mid to late afternoon.

FAIRWAY AERATION in July will require that the course be closed.
